Joe Henderson "In Pursuit of Blackness" (1971)

Uh-oh! Got some more Henderson for y'all. Released in the 90's as a double CD with "Black Is The Color," this is another top outing for all youHenderson lovers out there. Torn from the Milestone box set, contains some more live renditions from the Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa, as well as a killer line-up: Henderson (tenor saxophone); Pete Yellen (alto saxophone, flute, bass clarinet); Woody Shaw (trumpet); Curtis Fuller (trombone); George Cables (electric piano); Stanley Clarke, Ron McClure (bass); Lenny White (drums); Tony Waters (congas). Enjoy. Laters.
