Buster Williams "Pinnacle" (1975)

Okay, if you love the Mwandishi stuff, and you love stuff like "Headhunters" from Herbie & the troupe, then you're sure to love this one. It's along the lines of those mentioned above, as well as the more experimental Henderson stuff that we've all grown so fond of lately. Check it out... "Noble Ego" is by far the best track on the album. Players Include: Buster Williams Bass; Earl Turbinton soprano sax, bass clarinet; Sonny Fortune soprano sax, flute & alto flute; Woody Shaw trumpet; Onaje Allan Gumbs acoustic piano, electric piano, moog synthesizer & arp; Billy Hart drums; Guilherme Franco percussion; Suzanne Klewan & Marcus vocals. Really a big album... Back soon. Pace!
