Cortex "Volume 2" (1977)

The brother OUFAR KHAN knows what's going down. Thanks to him for this one. Haven't heard it yet, but I will. Hope you dig it. Peace! Here's what he had to say: "I hope I don't scoop anybody on this one, but since there was this buzz about the first (and wonderful) Cortex LP and since I was already thinking of posting their second... well here it is! It really is another absolute killer album of dope jazz/funk tracks, full of breakbeats and swirling rhodes lines that you can't get enough of! Unlike their first album it's all instrumental (save for a few chants on "Poxa") and lean even more heavily on the groove side, in a funky blaxpoitation kind of way. Too many good tracks to mention— Aaah, for once we can be proud of some french music!"

Enjoy!
