Leroy Vinnegar "The Kid" (1975)

In my constant mission to locate DJ Shadow's breaks & samples, I came across this very nice peace of music. It's a very good album, very classic jazz instrumentation, very atmospheric, and very progressive in nature. It's a great album. Look for the Shadow sample in there. Peace!

Nina Simone "High Priestess of Soul" (1966)

Found this one over at Hip Hop is Read blogspot, and figured since we're on a theme, might as well keep it going. Haven't listened to it yet, but I'm sure it's nice. Leave some comments, let us all know what you think. Back soon. Peace!

Nina Simone "It Is Finished" (1974)

Yo! This is one of my wife's favourite artist, and she's dope. Hard-core soulfull voice, hard-core classic Jazz vocal. And "Hotter Than A Mosquitos Tweeter" is one of the dopest songs I've ever heard. This is a CD Rip, and the packaging is a Vinyl replica from Germany, and well worth the money I spent on it. Back soon. Peace!

Sorry, don't know much about this album, and quite frankly, haven't even listened to it yet, but look at the freakin' line-up on this: Hank Mobley, James Spaulding, Joe Henderson, Mccoy Tyner, Pete la Roca, Herbie Hancock, Bob Cranshaw, and others... That alone entitles a listen. Found this at Hefiorels eclectic music show pay him a visit. Back soon. Pace!
